Honoring Police who are committed to Building Relations

Pastors Myles & DeLana Rutherford, Worship With Wonders Church, believe that God wants us to have strong, united communities, where we are following God’s Will and encouraging and training our youth to do the same, regardless of race, professions, etc. This belief is represented in Worship With Wonders 500+, multicultural membership. As a result, Pastors Myles & DeLana and Worship With Wonders Church have joined forces with Ties That Make A Difference, Inc. to help build stronger community relationships through the “Respect + Love + Relationship = Peace” Campaign.

On Sunday, September 20, 2015 Worship With Wonders Church and Ties That Make A Difference, Inc. helped to strengthen the community building and relationship process by honoring police, in Cobb County Georgia, who have made a commitment to build relationships with the community. The event began with honoring the police and their departments for making this necessary and desperately needed commitment. Afterwards, an atmosphere was created where the members and police could meet and begin building relationships while tearing down the negative stereotypes.
