Major Joe Duvall and the Marietta Police Department believe that it is extremely important for police officers to have strong relationships with the citizens they service. As a result, Major Duvall and the Marietta Police Department have made a commitment to build relationships with the citizens who reside in Marietta.
On Tuesday, October 20, 2015, the YELLS Community, Marietta Police, and Ties That Make A Difference, Inc. hosted a "Meet & Greet", prior to the Franklin Road Town Hall Meeting, in order to help the Franklin Road residents and the Marietta Police department to start building strong relationships and tear down negative stereotypes.
