Sean George is the Founder & CEO of Ties That Make A Difference, Inc. Mr. George founded this Christ-centered, faith-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit in order to follow God’s calling on his life to help all youth and young adults, especially those who are considered at-risk, to become the Godly, successful, educated leaders who are saved, Christ-centered, following their dreams and passions, and changing the world by blessing others and leading them to Christ.
Prior to this role, Mr. George was the President/ Educational Consultant for Ties That Bind Educational Services and an Owner/Member Manager for S&M Cleaning and Maintenance Services, LLC. Mr. George has also served as a teacher/ educator for over 12 years for public, charter, transition, and alternative schools in both Massachusetts and Georgia for grades kindergarten through 12. Mr. George has served on the board of two nonprofits, was an Assistant Venue Logistics Manager for the 1996 Atlanta Committee for The Olympic Games (ACOG), and a Logistics Consultant for the 1996 Paralympics.
Mr. George holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mass Communications/ Public Relations from Morehouse College, a Master’s of Education/ Mathematics (M.Ed.) degree from Cambridge College, and a Masters in Business Administration/ Project Management (MBA) degree from Walden University. Along with these degrees, Mr. George also holds teaching certificates in Mathematics, English/ Language Arts, and Social Sciences.
